Awards Ceremony Luncheon
Honoring Excellence in Education Research
The fourth annual AERA Awards Luncheon will be held Sunday, April 10. The luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate the field of education research and the accomplishments of AERA-wide awardees and those who receive special citations. Individual tickets to the luncheon are available for purchase during the registration process to all Annual Meeting attendees, while seats remain open.
Triennial Travesties: Special Centennial Edition
Celebrating 100 Years of Education Research
The Triennial Travesties, an every-three-year highlight of AERA Annual Meetings since 1969, will hold a special edition in 2016 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of AERA. Featuring stand-up comedy, song, interpretive dance, satire, multilevel modeling, and other comedic forms, the Travesties is a special opportunity for merriment for Annual Meeting attendees. The single focus of the 2016 edition of the Travesties: making light-hearted fun of a century of educational research and researchers.
