Education laws and policy consistently occupy a position of prominence in public and professional debate, local and national legislatures, and the judicial system. Since 1992, the Brigham Young University Education and Law Journal (ELJ) has striven to provide important information and generate scholarly discussion concerning important educational issues. Published biannually, each ELJ edition highlights legal and policy issues currently affecting elementary, secondary, and higher education.
Specifically, the ELJ serves as a forum in which top legal scholars, practitioners, administrators, educators, and students from across the country share diverse and thought-provoking viewpoints. This innovative student-run journal focuses exclusively on the field of education law and plays a prominent role in educational scholarship.
